Do you have a Gmail account? If so, did you know you can make voice calls with the chat feature on the Gmail Web interface—not just computer to computer, but from your computer to others' mobile and/or land lines?

Google's support documentation is located here.

If you have chat enabled on the Gmail Web interface, it's pretty easy to make a call. First, click the call phone icon.

Then, type in the number you'd like to call into the dial pad that opens.

Finally, click the call button and talk it up! Oh, one last thing . . . calls from the US to US & Canada are free (except toll calls). International calls (besides Canada) are not free. Click here to see rates.
