Tagging notes in Evernote is important. Not only does it provide a way for you to organize your notes, it makes it easier for you to search and filter your notes. Yet sometimes people (myself included) create notes in a hurry or, perhaps, on a mobile device, and they do not take time to tag the notes when they are created. So, how can you find those notes that are not tagged so that you might tag them? First, make sure you are viewing all notes. Then, in the search text box, type

-tag:*

and press enter. Now you can start adding tags to the notes you see. Happy tagging!
